Synopsis

"Beep beep beep beep. Mission accomplished on Earth. Returning to space!" In a rural town during the Heisei era, Tsubasa, a shy boy troubled by being "ordinary," meets Akitaro, a popular and "special" boy in his class, in the spring of his third year of elementary school, and they become best friends.

Playing games just for the two of them, meaningless conversations, walking home at dusk — the world truly belonged to them. But one day, Akitaro becomes an outcast in his class, surrounded by rumors and stares.

Then, an irreversible incident occurs : "What if I were an alien?" Is this a coming-of-age story for two boys, or a memory they want to erase? A story of a friendship spanning 30 years, a journey of boundless blueness.
