Synopsis: A soul wins the rare chance to live again despite having committed a grave sin. It is reborn in the body of suicidal teenager Makoto Kobayashi, through whose eyes it must reflect on it’s own wrongdoings as well as understanding the boy and his sorrows. Colorful is visually magnificent, and has won multiple awards including the Excellent Animation of the Year award at the Japanese Academy Awards, Audience Award at the Annency International Film Festival, and Animation Film Award at the Mainichi Film Awards.
