Announcing Japan Anima(tor)’s Exhibition’s theatrical premiere in Scotland – an amazing short programme from Studio Khara (Evangelion 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0) and DWANGO.

Scotland Loves Anime film festival is back for it’s sixth year of bringing the best of Japanese anime to Scotland. The festival is proud to announce the latest addition to it’s impressive line-up: The Scottish Premiere of Japan Anima(tor)’s Exhibition’s theatrical programme.

The short film series “Japan Anima(tor)’s Exhibition” presented by Studio Khara (Evangelion 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and Dwango. The series was compiled from original projects, spinoff projects, promotional films, Music PV, and VJ Films – all of which you will have a chance to sample on the big screen!

The goal of the project was to give talented animators an environment to experiment with new ideas or showcase concepts for future projects. Using limited time and a reasonable budget, the talented directors and animators were encouraged to explore the possibilities of future film production.

Scotland Loves Anime is proud to be presenting 14 shorts from the series on the big screen from a wide range of talented directors.

The film will be screening on Friday 16th of October at the Edinburgh Filmhouse and is recommended for people aged 18+.
