Brain’s Base and Aniplex guests to attend EU premiere of Hotarubi!

We are very pleased to confirm that Yumi Sato of Brain’s Base and Shuko Yokoyama of Aniplex will be attending the EU premiere of Hotarubi no Mori E in Glasgow on Saturday the 8th of October!
They will present the film then host a Q+A session after the screening of Hotarubi no Mori E and 2 episodes of Baccano! to introduce people to the work of Brain’s Base in general.

Yumi Sato
Yumi Sato is an animation producer for the acclaimed Brain’s Base studio, responsible for titles such as Durarara!!, Baccano!, Natsume’s Book of Friends, and Kuragehime. Sato will fly in from Japan to share insight into Brain’s Base’s original fairytale film, Hotarubi no Mori E, which will screen in both cities at Scotland Loves Anime.
Shuko Yokoyama
Aniplex producer Shuko Yokoyama has worked on a number of projects with Sato-san including Durarara!!, Baccano!, and Natsume’s Book of Friends. He’s been involved with a number of other very well-received anime projects too: Kimi to Boku and Soranowoto to name a couple. Both Yokoyama and Sato will attend the Glasgow weekend of Scotland Loves Animation.
